News from Ellen Leffler's lab!
Graduate student Helena Hopson presented at the Gordon Conference on Quantitative Genetics and Genomics in Lucca, Italy on Feb 16. She jumped on a plane to Italy with about 2 days notice and did a fantastic job stepping in for Ellen.
Anayansi Ramirez has been accepted into an 8-month, paid, virtual health data science training program called AIM-AHEAD NCATS. She meets twice a week and her group's research project is on "Effects of COVID-19 on maternal and fetal health". Ana was a GSRM intern in 2023 and is currently a lab technician in the Leffler lab.
